1. Amish Sugar Cookies

Total Preparation Time: 10 min
Bake: 10min. per batch
Makes: About 5 dozen

Ingredients:

1 cup softened butter
Vegetable oil, 1 cup
Sugar, 1 cup
Confectioners’ sugar, 1 cup
2 large eggs
Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
All-purpose flour, 4-1/2 cups
Baking soda, 1 teaspoon
Cream of tartar, 1 teaspoon

Directions:

1. Beat the sugar, oil and butter in a big bowl. Put eggs on the mixture and beat. Pour vanilla extract into the batter.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the tartar cream, flour and baking soda.
3. At last, combine the two batters and mix well.
4. Don’t grease your baking sheets. Drop the final batter on these sheets by small teaspoonfuls.
5. Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes at 375°, until it gets light brown.
6. Remove from oven to cool down.

Makes: About 7 dozen

Ingredients:

Softened Butter, 1 cup
Sugar, ¾ cup
Packed brown sugar, ¾ cup
Large eggs, 2
Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
Quick-cooking oats, 3 cup
All-purpose flour, 1-1/2
Instant pudding mix, 1 package
Baking soda, 1 teaspoon
Salt, 1 teaspoon
Semi-sweet choco chips, 2 cups
Chopped nuts, 1 cup

Directions:

1. Take a bowl. Add sugar and softened butter into it and beat well. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to beat altogether.
2. Combine flour, oats, instant pudding mix, salt and baking soda on a separate bowl and mix well.
3. Finally, add the two mixtures and beat. Add nuts and choco chips.
4. Take a tablespoon of batter and drop onto dry baking sheets.
5. Bake the cookies at 375°, until it gets light brown.
6. Place the tray on wire racks.

Makes: About 3 dozen

Ingredients:

Softened Butter, 1/3 cup
Sugar, ½ cup
Egg 1 large
Mashed ripe banana, ½ cup
Vanilla extract, a ½ teaspoon
All-purpose flour, 1-1/4 cups
Baking powder, 1 teaspoon
Salt, a ¼ teaspoon
Baking soda, 1/8 teaspoon
Semi-sweet choco chips, 1 cup

Directions:

1. Beat softened cream with sugar until it gets fluffy and light. In it, add egg, vanilla extract and banana.
2. In another large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
3. Add both the mixtures together and mix properly. Sprinkle some choco chips and stir
4. Spray the baking sheets with cooking spray. Drop tablespoons of batter on the sheets. Make sure to keep space between each drop.
5. Bake the cookies at 350° until the edges start getting light brown.
6. Keep the sheets on a wire rack to cool down.
